Whatcom Falls Neighborhood This neighborhood receives its name from the series of Whatcom Creak cascades that create the centerpiece for Whatcom Falls Park. The walk up the creek to its headwaters at the north end of Lake Whatcom can be both peaceful and romantic. The majority of homes found here are fairly new houses built on large lots.
Whatcom Falls Park is sure to feature something of interest to everyone in the family. Whether it is a day trout fishing, creek swimming, playgrounds, or a nice getaway picnic, Whatcom Falls Park is the perfect cornerstone for a relaxing weekend. Toward downtown along Lakeway Drive residents do there shopping at the Fred Meyer Shopping Center. Just a bit further away you can find Barkley Village and Sehome Village, both feature a Haggen supermarket and an array of small shops. The neighborhood children will be attending Carl Cozier Middle School while the older students are at Kulshan Middle School and Sehome High School. < Back to neighborhoods |
