South Neighborhood

The vast array of natural features combined with limited development makes the South neighborhood a beautiful and relaxing place to live. The southernmost portion of the neighborhood hosts Chuckanut Mountain which leads into Chuckanut Creek. Residents here also enjoy Hoag Lake as well as the several other small bodies of water found in the area.

The South neighborhood also features Fairhaven Park and Arroyo Park. Visitors to Fairhaven Park enjoy tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, and playing fields. Hikers and Bicyclists are especially fond of Arroyo Park and its Interurban Trail that crosses Chuckanut Creek on its way to Larrabee State Park.

The Fairhaven shopping district is nearby and features a variety of shops and restaurants. For your grocery needs there is also a Red Apple Market.

Kids in this neighborhood attend either Lowell Elementary School or Larrabee Elementary School. The older students will attend Fairhaven Middle School and Sehome High School.
